New Beginnings

As the cold of winter subsides and spring is on its way, we begin to see the hope of new possibilities. The approaching good weather brings the chance to get out in the fresh air and explore the blooming world around us.

Although this past year may not have gone how any of us planned, tomorrow brings a new set of opportunities for growth. Maybe this year is your year to start something new…to take the next step toward your brighter future.

Whether you are currently involved in residential assisted living, or simply curious about the opportunity, do something to make this spring count. Yesterday is over, and it doesn’t have to determine the potential that tomorrow holds. Wherever you are headed, just remember to never underestimate the power you have to take your life in a new direction.

We wish you success and prosperity. And remember to Do Good and Do Well.

Employee Spotlight

Meet Mona Guarino

A mother of four, with degrees in accounting and fashion design, Mona has been at the forefront of the residential assisted living industry for over a decade.

Partnering with her husband Gene, they set out with the goal of raising the standards of care seniors receive in assisted living.

Mona’s journey in assisted living started when she was looking to find suitable accommodations for her mother-in-law. Unsatisfied with the quality of facilities that were locally available, Mona and Gene took it upon themselves to start their own assisted living home, but within a residential setting.

Their primary objectives weren’t to make money, but to offer the best care and comfort possible, provided by competent and caring staff. Their journey in residential assisted living proved to be so successful and beneficial to their community that they decided to expand their efforts. By establishing proven systems, operating procedures, and tailor-made business road maps, they were able to teach others how to duplicate their success and spread their precedent of quality care across the nation.

Now, more than a decade later, the RAL Academy has trained thousands of entrepreneurs across the country to build their own RAL businesses and raise the standards of care in their own communities.

It is this passion for seniors and their caregivers that motivates Mona to continue building on Gene’s legacy. As a family, the Guarinos have left an indelible mark on the senior housing industry. And Mona is determined to keep inspiring current and future RAL owners to raise the bar and offer our nation’s elderly the very best in senior care.
