Born in southern California, raised in upstate New York, and currently living in Nashville, Katy is the Business Support Manager for the RAL Academy.
She began her career path working for a sports technology platform and later moved into an event coordinator position for a real estate seminar company. During her time there, she achieved promotion to the role of Director of Operations. Her experience in tech, events, and operations has made her an awesome addition to our team and a perfect fit for her role.
She is passionate, creative, organized, and excited to be a part of the RALA team, offering support wherever she can. She loves to use her unique set of organizational skills to create efficient processes and workflows.
She values efficiency, and effectiveness, specializing in understanding, creating, and streamlining processes to help reach the goals of the organization. “Efficiency is the foundation for survival; effectiveness is the foundation for success.”
Katy is proud to be considered a jack of all trades, and truly enjoys learning new products and platforms, giving her the flexibility to help wherever it is needed.
She finds inspiration on a daily basis working with her team here at RALA. “Being surrounded by smart, passionate, hardworking individuals who genuinely care about making a difference brings out the very best in me.”
She is passionate about health and fitness as well and consistently works hard to strengthen herself, both physically and mentally. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends, family, and, most importantly, her dog Oliver. She loves traveling, cooking, painting, pyrography (wood burning), creating digital art, and all forms of art and music.
Her greatest mentor is her father, a real estate agent and investor. “He has taught me everything I know regarding work ethic and relationship building. He has shown me the value of knowing when to speak up, and when to sit back and listen. I wouldn’t be where I am today without him.”
